About Us

Hi, we are Carl & Patricia Senser, and as fate would have it, we met 32 years ago. Little did we know that our mutual love for animals would develop into our breeding program today.

The first breed of dogs we ever bred was Collies and it was such a delight.

We had some coaching from an established breeder and everything went fine.

We then turned our attention to purebred cats, receiving National and Regional awards for our Siamese. Cats led back to dogs and we worked with several breeds before deciding that the Miniature Schnauzer was about the best breed of dog we had ever worked with. Such a great breed for families, great with small children, small, adorable with their beards and best of all non-shedding.

We got our first Mini Schnauzer 15 years ago and she stole our heart and they are our main breed at this point.

Although we do not show our dogs, we breed for the standard and produce excellent pets with great personalities. Ribbons would be nice but not at the expense of the dogs health.  It upsets us to see dogs on web sites that have numerous titles but died at an early age.

We do not in breed, which is the practice of breeding closely related dogs together.  We prefer to line breed distant relatives and do some outcross breeding as well. 

Inbreeding (example: mother to son, father to daughter)  is  where you get your best show dogs and also you biggest problems if there are health issues in the lines.

Ribbons are nice to show but we would rather breed for sturdy, healthy, and loving personalities. Most people are looking for pet companions and that is what we try to provide for them.

We encourage people to come and meet our dogs, visit our facility and decide for yourself. Our dogs sell themselves and we are proud of them
